Insulation

EPS insulated containers provide optimal protection against the loss of heat and cold in equal measure. They are produced in various sizes and designs. They are also used for a wide variety of applications.

Moulded parts are as diverse as their potential applications in the various industries. The precise realisation of specific products for optimum handling and greatest possible efficiency is therefore all the more important.

Thanks to its outstanding thermal insulation properties, EPS can be used as a technical moulding in many areas of the construction industry. One major area of application is that of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).

Roof insulation panels in composite systems: Lower water absorption, the extensive temperature application range, and very good thermal insulating capacity make EPS an ideal insulation material. EPS adapts to the wind- and temperature-dependent movements of the roof without the risk of cracks or holes forming. The EPS panels lie firmly against the usual roof battens and are capable of securely holding the tiles. The good permeability of EPS ensures a comfortable indoor temperature. Resistant to rotting and designed to be wind proof, the easy-to-assemble component is an ideal solution for roofs.

Floor panels in composite systems: The EPS moulded part is used to secure the heating as well as the insulation. The material properties of EPS can also be used to reduce impact sound. EPS can be used for sophisticated designs, simplifying the installation of heating pipework. And the low weight is a plus for handling. Where there are enhanced requirements for stability and strength, high material densities can be used.
